Well they say a clean bedroom leads to a peaceful mind. Most of us can only think of the time when we will leave our family homes and venture into something of our own, in simple terms being independent. Well for Musinguzi Andrew a.k.a Drew a first year student at Ndejje University Kampala campus has a lot to thank God for.
Andrew who is pursuing a bachelor in Information Technology might still be living under his family’s wing but in a more independent way. He managed to snatch one of the V.I.P rooms at Maptex Motel which is a family property in Rubaga, not only that he supervises the entire place… sigh
How do you keep your room tidy?
Every morning a small amount of time goes along way to making my room tidy, this way I can get a good nights sleep at the end of each day. Even though a person may not care how their room looks like, it still affects you in the long run.
Are you the only one who cleans your room?
I pay a maid to do the general Cleaning. I sleep on white sheets so my room and clothing have to be spot on daily. Most of my friends use my place as a chill handout so keeping it clean works.
Why do you love your room?
The fact that its self-contained with a water heater, there is no need to hustle. It gives me the homely comfort.
Your most treasured item?
My flat screen, the water Heater.
What do you hate most about your room?
The fact that my room is a bit small and doesn’t allow me bring in sofa sets and a dinning table. Another thing is organizing the room is which becomes a drag because there’s a lot of activities awaiting your attention at the same time.
