After staging a notably low key performance last year, the search for Kyambogo’s creative beauty is back, bigger and better. Dubbed the Face of Kyambogo Beauty Pageant 2017, the contest welcomes all female students from Kyambogo University who think are smart, elegant, and photogenic to take part in the race.
Registration is already on going and registration forms can be picked at various points within the university including the guild cafe, guild president’s office and the fruit center at a fee of just 10,000 Uganda shillings. To differ from last year’s event, a lot is expected from this year’s beauty contest where by the winner in the race will bag over 1 million Ugandan shillings and lots of goodies from the lead sponsors, CBS Fm.
“This year’s event is going to bring a new face to the beauty contests in Kyambogo. We believe in this as one of best ways of empowering ladies and fellow students in community. If a lady is given ground at this stage, it could boost their potential to achieve more in society,” Monerach Polycarp the Chief Organizer of the event told Campus Bee.
The participants who will have registered fully will undertake a week fully funded boot camp at Sports View Hotel, Kireka where they will be subjected to various tasks and sessions all to get them ready for the d-day event slated for the 27th October 2017 at the Kyambogo university Main hall West.
