The Bee also found that most of the students preferred to eat from restaurants located in the vicinity of their universities, with an exception to some that are near their places of residence.

Campus Café, a new restaurant located just two minutes away from the UCU main gate is simply worshipped. For a taste of class, students here love Café Pora located a few kilometres from the University along Jinja Road. It is the ideal place you would want to take a babe for ice cream for a first date.

However, the nearest restaurants are; Victoria Café which is located on the same building as the University. It serves both local and international foods.
Also above Kampala road is Cafe Javas, which is a favourite to some of these students.
Ndejje University: The restaurants are a bit far from the university but the students enjoy delicacies from Ngejje gardens, the Hear Restaurant, and Whatsapp gardens. One can get a plate of food for as low as 3,000 shillings.
