In the mighty school of beauties in Nakawa (MUBS), there emanated a leader that was known to a few but left many startled with his articulation of issues affecting the ordinary student at MUBS. A leader that was not only appreciated by the students but also the administration at large, a handsome and a fine looking ninja (At least to the ladies who have to say a word or two about him) who has wooed the fine ladies that merely take a look at him.
He is Bugingo Don Patrick and many refer to him as Don, the current Guild President of Makerere University Business School. Bred and nurtured from the humble grounds of St Mary’s College Kisubi [SMACK], Don is the latest in the list of leaders to have come from SMACK.
Don Patrick is a diplomatic, laid back, intelligent and articulate leader who has for his reign managed to salvage the best for MUBS. In a much contested election that brought him to power, he already had a step in the Guild office even before the election took place because of the trust he had garnered among the students’ fraternity and his humility. It should be remembered that MUBS had to re-elect after there was a rigging that rendered the first election nullified.
Far from his campus political career that is an epitome of success and transformation to the MUBS community, Don is a humble soul. He bows down to the common student and talks to almost everyone he comes across without a problem. He dines where many shun and also orders for a ‘Kiddo kiddo’ meal at the DH and munches on that small gate chips like his life depends on it. Even this doesn’t define a down-to-earth leader, what will?
With just a semester of his already much felt touch, Don has managed to achieve his slogan of ‘together we can do better’ and believe he is yet to achieve more for the business based university.
The most loved and certainly the most appreciated Guild president in the history of MUBS. He’s suave, eloquent and an intelligent leader that MUBS has got to thank them for having.
Campusbee tried to dig up his love life but only managed to land on a number of ladies that are either his close friends or he is just chilling deep in the friend zoned with a cappuccino cocktail. It’s not clear whoever Don is dating currently because he has somewhat managed to keep his love life a secret from the public eye. (However he shouldn’t sit back cross-legged as the drone bee is buzzing).
The drone has spotted him currently riding a Noah around campus and he cruises his guild cabinets in it as they head out for official duties.
