This week, my man crush just got a whole lot personal because I am blessed to be acquainted with a person that has made strides in life that most people in his age bracket just dream of. Muhumuza Colin is a UCU, Kampala campus student with visions, dreams and ambitions that have pushed him to be the entrepreneur he is today. Hold up, you may need to hold your breathe for the line up I’m about to drop. A line up of responsibilities and accomplishments he carries on his shoulders on top of being a BBA student.
Minister of Finance for Guild UCU Kampala campus, member of ICCC Ugandan Chapter, Youth facilitator with Uganda Youth Enterpreneur’s League, Income generating director at EUNISCA Uganda, BBQ company called Eazy Lyne Services, A farm with a piggery and cows in Najjera. Wait that’s not all. Come December this year, he will be opening up a store at Kampala Boulevard that will have his partnered clothing line called Urban Classic Collections. One may assume Colin is an arrogant snob but no, his religious roots keep him grounded as is for any successful man.
Motivational and succeeding men usually attribute their all to the women that raised them. Colin’s mother and auntie are the backbone to all his decisions and visions because their wisdom has proved to be fruitful above anything else. They both have taught him the fulfillment in quietude and deliverance in saving money. Money may not be everything in life but it sure gives clarity to life’s toughest times. His second life idol is billionaire Richard Branson, the English entrepreneur that owns Virgin Group and as of 25th October 2015, holding a networth of five billion dollars. Need I explain why Colin seeks motivation from this man? I think I had you on the five billion dollars part.
In the next 5-10 years, Colin wants business empire so big and successful that it makes a net worth of more than one million shillings a day. At this pace, one million is what he will make on his worst days. His biggest fear in life is any point in time where he will have not have delivered services to clientele to perfection. Plus not involving God in his plans. No one ever intentionally plans to rule out the Lord in their plans and so a small slip in which that could happen, frightens the most of us.
This article may have portrayed Colin as a focused ambitious hardworking man. Which is true, but he is also big joker with a very loud personality that keeps him playful and always up for a good time.
“The world makes way for a man who knows where his going.” Colin served up that quote that should instill the importance of purpose in one’s life. Find him on facebook @Collin Muhumuza and maybe pick a leaf from his gallant business mind.
