John Paul Rutagarama is a 3rd year veterinary medicine student at Makerere University. He has not only dedicated himself to his medicinal course, but has also invested a lot of time into making several animations.
According to Rutagarama , the founder of JP Animations, a bigger portion of the population in Uganda has a bias towards such technical inventions. This is due to the fact that there are no immediate direct returns as anticipated by many.
Most of the times, individuals who come up with such great ideas tend to give up along the way with anticipation that they would earn from their developments just so soon at the establishment.
This isn’t the case with John Paul.He recalls, vividly, way back when he started toiling to learn a thing [about animation] each day that went on, since his early primary school, at Budo Junior School.
“Its not by chance that am knowledgeable of these animation skills.” you have to toil real hard, day by day conceiving a new concept for each day that comes.
From Rwanda, this vet student says he finds it easier to establish himself as an animator here in Uganda than in his motherland.
John Paul says it’s not the first time, he is making such kind of great animations. However he could not avail some of these work pieces, after which some of them have attained copyright protection already.
“Soon in the near future, i fore see an exhibition of such young talents as we shall bringing the country’s best animators to one common platform” John Paul added.
