The journey to find the next miss earth is seamlessly one that won’t be an easy pie to eat regarding the final contestants that have been lined up. The Lined up that consists of a dazzling 13 contestants from different regions are set to be in the boot Camp for 2 weeks (19th August to 3rd September) at Crystals International School in Bugolobi the home sponsors.
The pageant shall then be crowned off on 28th August with the Talent and National Costume event at Crystals International school at 2pm which will climax to the Finale Night on 3rd September at Theatre Labonita at 7pm with ordinary tickets going for 20k and VIP tickets going for 50k.
This year’s pageant shall also bring to face not only the main Miss Earth Uganda but will bring Miss Earth Air, Miss Earth Water, Miss Earth Fire categories.
The overall winner of Miss Earth Uganda 2016 shall then represent Uganda in Manila Philippines on 29th October 2016.
As part of the pageant activities, the beauty queens shall undergo NFA tree seed center training and Mabira Forest hiking to promote Eco-tourism of the forest, recycling activities at Pipeline design & foam industries Ltd in Gayaza and Luzira, Wildlife conservation and Children environmental campaigns at Ngamba chimpanzee Sanctuary and shall also plant over 10 million trees with youth Go Green.
The Partners of the Miss Earth beauty pageant are; NFA, NEMA, Youth Go Green, Ngamba Chimpanzee Sanctuary Crystals International Schools, Lax Beauty Parlor, Pillar Media and Galaxy FM.
