It’s not yet 1st November but Halloween came early at Watoto church downtown. A well decorated masquerade ball organized for only the ladies, was the social event happening last night.
Ladies in dresses and faces hidden behind different beautifully crafted sorts of masks was all you could see for the entire evening. Campus Kara, an event that happens once a month was the occasion for the ball, lots of goodies were given out like shopping vouchers, make up kits, airtime and not forgetting chocolates which were given to everyone upon arrival, the night remained young with ladies’ dance and musical performances plus live deejay mixing.
Just when everything turned a little bit serious with Christine Mugabi preaching, the service ended only for a dance floor of gospel clubbing to be opened in the outside extension of the church.
