Youth living near and around Kampala yesterday flooded Kampala streets mainly Lumum street where the market day was stationed.
Many youth were seen either selling their merchandise or playing customer nanti cheap things attract many.
Two weeks back Kampala Capital city Authority (KCCA) unveiled Lumum Street as a Sunday market that the car carriage will be blocked from 5am to 5pm for vendors to trade.
The move is seen to target 1000 vendors and each have to pay 10,000 shllings every Sunday.
The Director Gender, community service and production Harriet Mudondo says the move is aimed to address the problem of street vending and few gazetted working places.
