Infinix Mobility recently launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Infinix Hot 7 in Uganda on 4th March 2019.
The HOT series are one of the budget friendly high quality Infinix phones. The Infinix Hot 7 smartphone which will be the successor of the Hot 6 that was launched a year ago and we are here to see what changed with this new flagship device.
Screen
Compared with Hot 6, the latest Hot 7 has a 6.2-inch Notch screen while the HOT6 had a 6.0” screen. This Notch upgrade on the HOT7 gives one a wider view and a better entertainment experience.
A Notch screen is the latest trend in smartphones which people have embraced very well. This type of screen has a wider view that will enable you see everything on your phone unlike the HOT 6 which has an ordinary 6.0” screen.
The Notch screen definitely adds beauty to the design and look of the phone.
With a 19:9 Notch screen aspect ratio, consumers get a better visual experience and more immersive for games or movies although the 18:9 aspect ratio on the HOT6 is not so bad but the difference is much visible.
Camera
Infinix this time did a great job on the selfie camera upgrading it from the HOT6’s 5MP to 8MP on the HOT7 which is an AI camera hence no hassle of having to put the setting rights as AI selfie camera has an automatic shutter speed and exposure, saturation, color depth, dynamic range which is not available in the HOT6.
Battery Life
Given that the HOT7 and HOT6 are ideal for entertainment, they are both powered by a strong battery of 4000mAh which is guarantee uninterrupted experience for entertainment and unlimited phone usage up to 24hrs for an average user along with Dirac speakers which are suitable for music lovers.
Storage
When it comes to storage capacity the HOT7 is way better with 32GB expandable to 128GB while the HOT6 is 16GB, expandable to 32GB.
Looking at RAM, the HOT7 comes with two variables 1/2GB which is the same case as that of the HOT6.
Operating System
Both the HOT6 and HOT7 run on an Android 8.1 Go edition, which is a trusted and very effective version of Android which is quite lightweight, takes less storage and increases the performance.
The Android 8.1 Go edition comes with all the necessary and popular Android apps such as Google Assistant Go, Google GO, Google Maps Go, YouTube Go, Gboard, Gmail Go, Chrome, and Files Go as well as a better file management app.
Connectivity
Both models have 3G connectivity and both have Face ID when it comes to phone security which is the trend when it comes to security settings.
