City slay queen, Sheilah Gashumba says she’s forever grateful for her father, Frank Gashumba for buying her a phone at the age of eight. “I think the best thing my dad ever bought me when I was young was a phone!! Got my first phone at 8 years and my own computer too,” Sheilah Tweeted of her supportive dad.
She added. “He got me quick typing tutorial games to spend up my typing on any keyboard and now I make close to 20,000usd a month by working on my phone.”
The tax collector, Uganda Revenue Authority (URA)’s head of corporate affairs Ian Rumanyika quizzed if Sheilah pays her taxes considering the hefty amount of money she earns monthly.
“@SheilahGashumba I hope you are good with the Taxman,Sec 4 & 18 of the Income Tax Act requires you to pay Income tax earned from business & income earned is chargeable to tax.
You are required to file income tax returns&charge VAT since you’re providing a ‘standard rated service’” Rumanyika asked sending Sheilah back to kamoli.
