Juggling a tiresome job and school is quite a difficult task for many to handle. It comes chained with stress, less sleep, less free time and more commitment so as to get things done in/on time. The beautiful, hardworking and ever amazing Kyohangirwe Florence Kakatshozi a.k.a Kwynn juggles work and books and has managed to keep an infectious personality as she strives to follow her journalistic career.
Kakatshozi is a third year student of Uganda Christian University [UCU] Mukono doing a Bachelors in Mass Communication and majoring in Journalism. She refers to herself as a workaholic but her friends know her as a certified party animal which she doesn’t deny at all, “I am also a good party animal so it’s work and play in my world every day,” she added.
A writer at New Vision and editor of the best youth magazine in Uganda, Buzz magazine, you would think that she has already accomplished all she ever wanted in life but she doesn’t think so. Kakatshozi is also a big supporter of girl power and women’s rights, “I am a proud feminist,” she commented.
When we asked her how she balances work and education, “I also don’t know how I do it but I do most of my work from my hostel and just forward it to the concerned parties, it’s tough though,” she said.
Go forth, chase your dreams Kwynn. You are an inspiration to many girls!
