When your day is packed with classes, assignments, and studying not to mention social life and maybe a job, who has time for healthy eating? While sometimes low on the list of students’ priorities, being smart about food has many benefits.
Many food places are on existence including the famous Mama ken, Forestry, All seasons restaurant, among others. Even hall students will be found abandoning hall food to dine in these places.
One question still stands though, how clean are the preparation of these meals?
If the restaurant does not look clean, the kitchen is probably worse. If you do not smell the food cooking, they are going to serve you leftovers or something that is not fresh. Skip it. If there are no people sitting at the tables, the food is probably bad, the service is terrible, the restaurant is expensive, or there is some reason why the local residents avoid it. You should too.
Healthy eating doesn’t just happen! No time is no excuse;
• Don’t leave home without breakfast: it could be tea, cold cereal, milk or even leftover pizza and an apple
• Consider supplements and what you drink counts too! Water is always a great choice and aim for at least 6 cups every day.
• If you have been skipping meals, re-arrange your schedule. If you are used to eating most meals out, learn how to cook some simple meals for yourself, if you do dine out, go for healthier meals and go light on the dressing too!
Try these tips they’ll work for you.
