Life was not that way virtuous at University for the Elgon region Police Chief, Superintendent of police Ms Nandawula Diana who is also the Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the region because her father was critically sick for the whole three years she spent at the University and he died immediately after her graduation.
In an exclusive interview, Diana finished her high school at Kitate Hill School in 1997 and joined Makerere University at the age of 18 where she did a degree in mass communication. She joined many associations at the University with the ambition of meeting different people that she hoped to help her in future in getting jobs and she also liked making friends during her stay at the University. She did not hustle with tuition because she was government sponsored whereby she got many facilities for free.
Diana joined police Force in 2007 from radio presentation. She joined force principally because of its job security as she was not happy with signing of contracts which may not be renewed after its expiration.
Lastly she advised campusers to have that x-factor in them which will take them to greater heights and avoid unemployment which is real. “Female campusers should avoid free things from me like eats and learn how to equilibrium books because many of them mess up at the end”. Diana said. To the criminal students she said your bad record will follow you even if you are not working for the government because now even private sectors want to know how you have been behaving at the University before your employed.
