There are notable individuals that are overly knowledgeable about technology than others and good news is that they are willing to pass it to those that are willing to be tutored through their blogs.
After a thorough search, I realized that tech websites here are on the fast growth and the in thing which boosts transfer of information in the lay man’s language real quick. More interestingly is that it’s the fresh Campus lads and babes that are slowly creeping into this. Basing on the top most tech websites in Uganda, I present the top five bloggers that are quite remarkable and are at campus but with a bulk of technology information. You can call it a countdown;
5. Bisimbeko Remmy:
Currently in his 2nd year doing a Bachelor in Information Systems, Remmy is a blogger with www.guru8.net and he boosts of a greater knowledge in Java,html5,Java script to mention but a few. He’s very much related to all techs and admires a lot of tech innovations as he nurtures to make his own someday. He loves, breathes and talks tech. @LastUfoundRemmy is his twitter handle.
4. Ndagire Ester:
Amazing how this cutie made it to the list. Wonder not as she surely has a bulk of tech knowledge running through her veins and artilleries. She’s currently in her 3rd year at MUK pursuing a Degree in Information Technology explaining her wealth of tech knowledge. She’s a blogger with www.nexapost.com who just got recruited but with a great ambition to start up her own site. She is a developer with Kola studios the makers of the common game app ‘Matatu’ that has gotten us glued to our smartphones. She is on this list interestingly because of her tech smile. 3. Musiime Boses:
This dude is well endowed with tech database in his small head and he simply loves tech, putting all his passion to it. Currently in his 2nd year doing his Bachelor in Information systems, Boses started blogging in his vacation and blogs with www.guru8.net. He’s a user interface Developer/Designer and an addict to cloud architecture. He’s the CTO of Campusbee.ug and his tech blogs are precise and straight to the point. They are as easy as putting off a bra. He’s surely rubbed shoulders with great people because of technology. He’s a down to earth guy and @boses8 is his twitter handle.
2. Mwesigwa Daniel:
Another jack of all trades and as regards teach blogging. Currently a 4th year student at Makerere University doing a Bachelor in Land Economics, Daniel is a tech blogger with www.dignited.com a tech website that visualizes on the spotlight for African Innovation. He does a bit of web development and designing with a great love and admiration for UI/UX. A brief insight into what he wants to achieve and be called a real tech guru is that he’s apparently venturing into data driven journalism that leverages the tools in data mining & visualization to break down the current information overload.
1. Remmegious Ssewankambo:
An architect student doing his bachelors at the Kyambogo University tops the list of Tech Bloggers. He is currently in his third year, a Senior Reviews and Features Editor/Freelance Blogger with Uganda’s Top Tech site www.techjaja.com(Statistics prove me right) that strives at bringing tech news to Africans with an African spice and a tech writer with New Vision’s Swag. Apparently he’s being noticed tremendously for being a Tech geek on twitter by early adopters, tech influencers, and fast rising bloggers among others where he has been added for his great works. @s_remmie will get you to his twitter page.
