King Benita aka Dir Make it Nasty talks about the aftermath of the sextape that went viral and his new celebrity status.
When did you record that Sex tape?
It was last sem. It wasn’t meant for public consumption but it somehow got its way into social media.
What was your role in the sextape?
Mob people say I was the director, but heck! I was just having fun doing my thing. It was fun cheering them but shit later turned me on eeh!
So how did the tape leak?
Well it was a well kept secret before some devil stole it from Nasta’s halla. We’re yet to know who it was. I think person had mega beef with Nasta that’s why he/she decided to leak it.
Why did you record it in the first place?
Man it was just fun. We were from a house party that day so we were somehow arguing about how Derrick couldn’t bed her (Nasta). Gwe we were mob high! So we decided to grab keys for a friend’s hostel, dared Derro to show me if he can realy hit it (rat). Buh I wanted that moment to last so I decide to take a recording. Shit it was tight, we really made it nasty!
How is life after the sextape going viral?
Umm man life hasn’t been easy for me and any of the other guys who featured in it. A lot has changed. Like I can no longer walk freely around campus like I used to back then. When i’m at the DH all eyes are on me. Damn, now I know that celebrity life aint easy. It’s hard, but I’m trying to cope up!
So how are you copping up?
It’s simple, I allowed that it wasn’t appropriate to do what I did, and I have now moved on. I’m living my life and everyone is free to say or think whatever they want; all I know is God is the only one who can Judge us.
Right now the tagline “Make it Nasty” is in everyone’s lips, how do you feel about that?
I believe some things happen for a reason. Right now I must say I am a celeb because it is only celebs that are talked about (btw I’m not happy being a celeb). I just might come up with the “Make it Nasty” brand lol!!
How did your parents react to that sexytape saga?
Like any other parents, they were not happy with what I did. They have never watched it btw. They called me after reading that crappy Redpepper story asking if it was true. I told them it was true and that they should not ask for details because it was nasty. They have been supportive and they are the reason I sound strong today.
So what’s your next move, should we expect more sextapes from Dir Benita?
Hahahaha c’mon! It’s not like I’m going to make it my full time job or something. That was just fun but since you have mentioned it, never know what may happen *wink*
It is to be noted that Derrick Tumunde and Benita Kyasiima were yesterday allowed to continue and finish their studies at UCU.
