THEFT OF CHARGERS AND COMPUTER ACCESSORIES
You have to charge your phone while seated next to the charge. In case you leave both the phone and charger, you will get surprised to find the charger gone and phone is untempered with. Then comes the theft of computer mice actually the computer laboratory has lesser number of mice due to the theft..In case you want to use a computer freely you have to carry a personal mouse.
COPYING NOTES FROM INTERNET
You guys get work and put on your flash and go print, at Bugema you will find a student seated in front of a computer for hours copying notes…Speak of manual copy and paste.
SPEAKING GISHU 24/7
You guys love to be associated with speaking English which is typical of university students.yah! But Bugema students speak gishu all day and on top of their voices. You may think they are preparing for cultural gala or something.
PHONE MODELS
You may think it’s the home of china phones..Generally all students own Chinese double-line phones and what’s most irritating is that sim1 and sim2 are all of one service provider either mtn or warid…Hmm!! Surprisingly the gate man owns a blackberry of sorts.
“LUGABIRE” AND SLIPPERS FOR LECTURES
On a typical day for lectures you will happen to find guys smartly dressed (shirt tucked in) but down, they are putting on “lugabiire” (sandals made from tires). On the ladies side, one will find them wearing slippers (Bata) and she is not bothered sited seriously in a lecture room..He he that bugema for you!!!
JAZZ
Campusers jazz about facebook, latest hairstyles and trending men and women designs, such is unheard of. Their jazz ranges from prices of matooke, turkeys, malewa, the list is endless. But just that you should know it’s a different campus life down here.
