As we are waiting for mobile money messages from the prime minister, we are back with our Man Crush Monday (MCM) 2021 edition where we bring to you influential gentlemen within universities across Uganda sharing their life stories about how they have been able to succeed in life.
Today, we have none other than Mr. Denis Ndyebaza Ssali alias Isco.
Denis is a third year medical student pursuing a a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science at Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) serving as the chairperson of the University’s sports union since the beginning of this year. He also doubles as the chairperson of tribal group at MUST Baganda Nkobazambogo.
He is a great sportsman which is evidenced by the skills he portrays when on the pitch. Being a multi-talented player and his love for sports are the reason as to why he was nicknamed ‘’Isco’’ because according to his fans, he was playing like the Real Madrid star Isco.
He is a self-employed business man who runs a shop selling sports equipment in Kampala. With the little he gets from his business, Denis always ensure that he shares it with those in need especially in these difficult times of the pandemic. ’’Having had a dream to be a medical person, this was always a child’s dream, however when I grew up I found reasons to work harder besides my profession. Today am owning a sports center which I opened up recently realizing where my hobbies push me. I want to own as many shops as possible in the near future,’’ he explained.
‘’Today I’m able to reach out to very many people with my assistance and aid even when I’m not called for but giving back to the society that natured me and also trying to contribute school fees to the homeless children at my home place every term,’’ He adds.
About relationships, Denis happily said that he is contented with one beautiful lady who prepares his best meal of rice and greens.
