What does it mean to be cool? To be the person who knows it all without really knowing anything at all, or to know of things that everyone knows but picking up on stuff others don’t, I do not know. I guess we have all been threatened by the idea of not being cool enough. No one wants to be in the sidelines of a Game of Thrones catch up, we all want to get why Kalis and Snow are household names. Sadly not all of us can be phenomenally cool, it’s a genes thing, some people are just effortlessly cool at everything they do.
MAK bares a muchacho that is somewhat the epitome of cool. I doubt there exists a coolness radar, but trust me if it did, that scale would combust from the readings it would be getting. Nixon Katwesige has one of the most interesting Instagram pages I know. His pictures first of all aren’t run over by overwhelming filters, it’s all about the lighting and angling with this one. Plus most aren’t even of him, but cool music he is into at the time. It’s very worrying to find a boy’s Instagram account showing pout after pout, always leave the superficial things to the girls, we make them seem okay.
Arrr it does help that he has a neatly groomed scruff highlighting his prime side bans. It makes for a glorious sight. His style game? If sleek shirts, tailored pants and hip sneakers comprise of IT ensembles then yes, I would say his style game is nothing short of awesome. Of course coolness rhymes with fashion, I would completely be raging on about something entirely different if he was in to big jersey shirts and sagging pants, but he isn’t.
Drawn to music and the relishing ambiance of a bar, Nixon still manages to make time for books. There is nothing hip about bad grades and he gets that.
At this point, I have used the word cool so much it has reached to a stage of lame, boring and weird, but what can I say, thesaurus only has literal means of cool. Refrigerated, frosty, chilled, not really in line with what I am going for so bare with me.
