The National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) held the 11th annual Uganda higher education exhibition that took place at the UMA
Over 50 Ugandan universities participated in the exhibition including Uganda Christian University (UCU), Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Lira University and Kyambogo University. UCU emerged the overall best exhibitor at the 3 days event. This year’s exhibition took place under the theme “Streamlining Technology”.
Some universities and departments for example the faculty of

The faculty of law exhibited a social media application that brings the students
of the faculty and the staff together to make class consultations easier. The students
of the faculty also demonstrated how the students can make use of social media for
education purposes as opposed to using the same as a passive engagement.
Every faculty and department of the universities present had something to display ranging from art paintings (among those outstanding being a student’s portrait of the UCU Vice Chancellor Rev. Dr. John Ssenyonyi). UCU also exhibited African crafted pieces that included bags, clothes and traditional bowls and pots.
