Makerere University Guild President, Bala David Bwiruka has found it a habit to be on the wrong side of peace and harmony. As if constant fights with the university at Makerere are not enough, Bala has carried his fights to the bars. After having a brawl at a local Bar with chaps he cited as his enemies at Makerere University, the president is not a joking subject when he loses his cool.
While at Africana Bar, Fort Portal, Bala who was having a bit of fun with his friends was confronted by a MUK student hurling insults at the president. Knowing the notorious being in Bala, he couldn’t stomach being humiliated in front of his subjects and thus retaliated. The argument escalated into serious exchange of flexes and punches that were witnessed by the locals and fellows from various institutions.
The fight was on the verge of turning gruesome but eventually fellows intervened and had to separate the two who had now started damaging property in the bar. The two were eventually separated and bounced from the bar.
The yet to be identified fella was earlier heard swearing how he has a score to settle with the president and won’t rest until he unleashes his purge on the MAK president.
A number of institutions are convened at the on-going UNSA 2016 campaigns in preparation of the Cabinet elections being held in Fort Portal, Kabarole district. Various delegates from various universities have convened in Fort Portal to have the new UNSA cabinet elected.
