Over 40 students at the school of education at Makerere University were on Monday denied end of semester exams for late payment.
According to the invigilators, the third year students were not allowed to sit for papers because their money was not ‘reflected’ in the banks they had deposited their tuition.

Goddy Ochaya: “And that’s the reason why our Lord must vacate his seat. This was an educational revenge to the students who are continuously fighting for their rights. It’s absurd that our nation is sinking down every day and the tyrants are multiplying and increasing panic to our nation.
Come 2015, these fools must go and must leave what belongs to the public, to the public, this therefore calls for solidarity. Where are our leaders? when shall you exercise authentic duties?, the administration of the university needs to be changed from its current rubbish.
Angella Kirabo: Guys I think you pay in banks outside Muk and those normally take ages to reflect the money. Because myself I paid in DFCU, Muk branch for graduation clearance, I paid at 1pm, trust me by 3 pm, I went to the faculty and it was already reflecting, it was just hours . Always mind the banks we pay from. Thanks.
