The world is still in shock after a video footage of a child Terrorist featured on social media, showing the execution of a University student, one known as Ropvil Dociya Dalep. Dociya was a member of Church of Christ in Nations who was kidnapped on January 9th this year on Damaturu-Maiduguri highway while returning for his studies at Maiduguri University in Borno state, Northeast Nigeria.
This heinous act was masterminded by Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP), a breakaway faction of the Boko Haram Terrorist group which is part of the larger Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) Terrorist group.
Standing behind his victim with a pistol, the masked child Terrorist threatened Christians before the execution, calling the execution of Dociya as an avengement to Christians. He then chanted some Arabic words before transiting to Hausa, a well known west African language, to say;
“In particular, this is one among the Christians from plateau state. We are saying to Christians, we have not forgotten what you have done to our parents and ancestors…”
This heartbreaking video footage was posted online by SITE Intelligent Group, an organization that tracks the activities of Terrorist around the world, on Tuesday 22 January 2020 and since then has been spreading all over social media.
22 year old Dociya has been a student of Maiduguru University pursuing a bachelors of Biology Education.
We condemn terrorism in the highest terms and pray for Dociya’s spirit.
