Forum for Democratic Change’s Honourable Ssemujju Nganda has come out to denounce the outcomes of the Soroti city east by-election.
Ssemujju, while at a talkshow on NBS, gave National Resistance Movement’s Dr Tanga Odoi a roasting.
Honourable Ssemujju Nganda said a man at a level of a professor at Makerere University can’t be forgiven for indulging in election rigging.
“There are people I forgive due to their intellectual inadequacies. You can’t forgive a Makerere professor participating in election cheating.” Ssemujju said.
Ssemujju added that everyone that witnessed the Soroti city east by-election saw a professor of Makerere stuffing ballots.
Dr. Tanga Odoi, a lecturer and chairman Makerere University convocation, had gone to canvass support for Herbert Ariko (NRM) in the Soroti East by-election.
According to Dr. Tanga Odoi, he didn’t participate in election rigging as his role in Soroti City East was purely vote protection.
NRM’s Herbert Ariko defeated FDC’S Attan Moses in the Soroti city east by-election that has been branded sham by the opposition.
