EMDI has a full curriculum approved by Greycells Education Ltd which is a leading education provider across India and Middle East.
The institution will provide different levels of short courses for graduates, for both S4 and S6 leavers. The qualifications got after courses studied at EMDI will be internationally recognized and will equivalent to certificates and Diplomas.
Most lessons will be hands-on and way too practical because they will be taught by professionals who are already in the field like Roger Mugisha of KFM and many more. There will also be real life practical projects in Events Management and Public relations. The institution also boasts with an FM radio station and a DJ booth for practical hands on training under direct supervision of professional lecturers.
According to Peter Kagwa, Managing Director EMDI, the aim of the institute is to professionalise and grow the vocational industry to world class standards. “EMDI has come to bond the gap between the theoretical classes currently offered and practical applications that employers need today,” he adds.
The Institution officially opens in January 2014.
