Africell Uganda continues to impress with their innovative packages for all categories of their customers, including students. Dubbed Uganda’s fastest growing network, the telecom giant will from tomorrow offer University students free special golden sim cards that are ready for use on loading of start off data. The attractive offer will be available for all students at the Makerere University (MUK), Kyambogo University (KYU), Kampala International University (KIU), Uganda Christian University (UCU), Makerere University Business School (MUBS) and Uganda Martyrs University, Nkozi (UMU) bazaars that start off this weekend.
Also as part of the rewards, students will stand a chance to win mega goodies at the Africell tents on purchase of recharge cards, 25 free MBS for every recharge of data above 25MBs, T-shirts, caps, phones, recharge vouchers and other attractive packages including the cheapest devices and phones. Africell Uganda’s vision has always been hinged on the provision of fast, countrywide, reliable, secure and affordable telephony and related services to their growing number of subscribers. Already, this is paying off with good results.
Last December, Africell was ranked the Uganda’s best network in terms of data speeds by Open Signal– who are the telecom industry’s leading analysts. The award sent Africell into high gear and has seen them launch Uganda’s first 4G LTE platform on their network to give their subscribers value for money with faster internet speeds, faster uploads and downloads. Africell has also previously been hailed by Uganda Communications Commission for their commendable job in improving their operations to standard.
Milad Khairallah, Africell’s Commercial Director says the golden sim card offer with the WTF (Whatsapp, Twitter, Facebook) social bundle is in line with their vision of giving their customers the best at the most affordable prices. “We value students and their need for data to be able to carry out research for their courses, keep in touch with their families and friends, plus also make phone calls at the lowest rates. Africell is the only network that can be relied on to deliver all this” Milad said. “I urge all students to take advantage of this offer, get free sim cards, register them and start calling, whatsapping, texting, facebooking and tweeting”
Africell whose revolutionary “King of the bundles” launch in October last year took the market by storm have continued to lead the innovative front to satisfy their subscriber’s needs. With other packages like the 0.5 shillings per second, the Tokota Nnyo bundle that combines 20 minutes of voice calls, 20 Mbs of data and 20 text messages for just 1000 shillings, Africell is the network with the customer in mind.
