It seems this year’s Makerere freshers have not learned anything from the previous ones. As first-year students continue flocking Makerere University to kick off the 2019/20 academic, Campus Bee has landed on a first-year student attached to University Hall (UH) reporting with a Metallic Box Case (suitcase) and the famous ousofia bag also known as ‘tonoonoza’.
The confident fresher was later seen making his way to UH while carrying a black school bag on his back. However, we do not know what continuing students will say or do to him when they report next week, we just wish him good luck in pursuing his dreams!
If you attended boarding school, well, you would understand that students normally stop reporting with metallic cases as early as senior one. However, this dude from the Ivory Tower seems to defy odds by showing up with the same old thing that saved us from bloody thugs.
Security-wise, the metallic case kinda saves you from thugs, but again, who does that? This is campus, for crying out loud.
It should be recalled that last year, another fresher residing in Kikoni reported with the same case type and the internet erupted.
