Airtel Uganda has this year given its customers a Valentine’s treat like no other.
In the days leading up to the day aptly referred to as one for the lovers, Airtel Uganda unveiled a promotion aimed at sharing love with its customers via retail and digital channels.
The promotion, dubbed ‘#ColourOfLove’ sought to reward customers that transacted at Airtel outlets with Valentine’s Day hampers. The goodies given out in the promotion included, daily wine bottles, roses, T-shirts, cakes, shopping vouchers. The Grand Prize being a dinner at Paradise Terrace at the Kampala Sheraton Hotel on 14th February 2016.
On February 13, 2016, a pre- valentine’s celebration was held at several Airtel shops that included cake cutting. Over 1,000 customers took part in the cake cutting, 655 were received wine and roses.
As part of the celebration, 40 lucky couples were treated to a sumptuous dinner at the Paradise Terrace, Sheraton Hotel on February 14, 2016 (Valentine’s Day).
Speaking at the dinner, Mr. Sandor Lyle Walusimbi, Public Relations Manager Airtel Uganda said, “By virtue of Airtel’s brand colors, it is worth claiming it for valentines. This is why we have the #ColorOfLove with Airtel on the Valentine’s Day,” he said.
He also congratulated all Airtel customers who participated in the promotion, adding that Airtel would always celebrate every milestone with them.
