The smartest male student at FEMA, Alex Nkubi Wajja also standing for College Of Business And Management Science (COBAMS) Presidency with the tagline; “The Change is Now”, is the only student campaigning with material as large as a billboard. Not even one of the guild President aspirants has something this large.
The large magnificent billboard stands tall at FEMA and we managed to get to Alex Nkubi Wajja and asked him a few questions;
Why did you decide to stand for school President?
The desire to bridge the gap that exists between the college and other model colleges, coming in at a time when I would want to promote networking among the students at FEMA and COBAMS.
Also, the desire to introduce a fully functioning alumni is baffling and the urge to organise sports galas and movie nights directed towards a cause of helping unprivileged students.
Which leader inspires you?
I am inspired by my inner self that has driven me this far, fairly although, Tanzanian President Pombe Magufuli is a great inspiration to me and he is a force to reckon.
Do you think your manifesto will cut it?
I believe I have the best manifesto in Makerere today because it has been designed to reach out to even the lowest levels that exist on the colleges chain of service and command. It correlates with the changing world and puts forth sustainable solutions to problems we all share.
Alex adds on that the billboard or largest poster in MUK, shouldn’t create fear and panick. Being the smart student he is, he adds that his campaign strategy is not far from being smart. All the best lad!
