Law students at the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) Kampala Campus have organized a Law Dinner slated for Saturday, 7th May, 2022 at Macknon Suits Hotel in Kampala.
According to IUIU Kampala Campus Law Students Society (LSS) immediate past president Ssenyonga Julius, the function has been organized to allow law students interact with IUIU law alumni and learn the practical side of the legal profession.
“This event is for the year fours and even the entire law school. It is an activity that marks four years tenure at law school where lawyers in making come to interact with people in the field like legal icons,” he said.
“We have invited different alumni of IUIU who have established themselves in the legal field or have law firms so that they can share ideas with us,” Ssenyonga added.
Ssenyonga, who as well serves as the current president of Uganda Law Students Association told Campus Bee that the Chief Guest at the dinner is Justice Michael Chabita , Justice of the Supreme Court in Uganda.
The event will be held under the theme; “Life after Law School and Role of Young Lawyers in Constitutional Governance.”
