The Anchors Dance Group (ADG), that is comprised of seven campus students won the Power Fm dance competition dubbed ‘60 secs‘ that took place on Thursday evening at Watoto Central. With the contemporary dance and well rehearsed neat dance moves, ADG dance crew danced the night away, winning a grand prize of shs1.5 million. This dance crew will also feature in the music video of the Da’ T.R.U.T.H real names, Emanuel Lee Lambert, an award winning Christian rapper based in the US.
ADG beat six other dance groups (that included Country Lites, Devine Sparks,Vision with Hope, Intergrity Power, Storm Riders, and Swat Team) to the grand prize. However, a lot of students who attended the event believe Vision for Hope dance crew truly deserved the win. Herny Seru complained: “It’s unfortunate, very, for my Power Fm guys, MC & judges, you have evidently #stoodout but on the wrong side… less than a 3rd of the crowd celebrating your verdict while the close to two-thirds disappointed, I hope the MC has no hearing problem, but the Vision With Hope dance crew clearly outcompeted the “Watoto group” (ADG) in the final performance. I have always considered you on best production until today’s off verdict, even a blind man could vote other wise, considering performance.”
