As we draw closer to the release of Angella Katatumba’s brand new album titled “Masterpiece”, the songstress has now dropped a new single dubbed “Mufele” ahead of her Album listening party which will be held at Hotel Diplomate, Muyenga on 30th September 2022.
“Mufele” is the first single off Angella Katatumba’s masterpiece album, a song about the heartbreaks that many people face when they deal with very narcissistic and lying partners.
The song was written by David Makueta, produced by Balayo Lawrence, Mixed & Mastered by Abraham Mutukiriza at Masters studios Located at Plot 2 Ntinda 2 Roads, Kampala Uganda.

A few months ago, a team of creatives came together with a simple idea of creating a sound art piece.
The team aimed to produce work that would push the boundaries of what Ugandan music is and what it should like .
“The name ‘Masterpiece’ was arrived at with a unanimous decision because we believe and stand by this musical asset we are sharing. We believe that music should be able to live on and be enjoyed for years to come,” Angella Katatumba noted during the unveiling event of Masterpiece held a few weeks ago.
The album contains 15 tracks written, mixed, and mastered at Masters records with a wonderful team of young Producers, Vocal directors, Songwriters, DJs and excellent executive producer Master Brisco – the founder/ CEO of Masters Entertainment.
The 15 – track album comprises songs, each centered around the life of Angella Katatumba.
On ‘Masterpiece’, Angella gives her fans a more personal and up-close look into who she is, her lifestyle and the hustle in her daily life.
The project is a partnership between Masters Record and Angella Katatumba in which Masters will act as the sole distributor, promoter, and main producer of the album.
The Album is going to be made available publicly in a week’s time (September 30th) on all digital streaming stores before an album listening party on the same night at the Viewpoint, Hotel Diplomate, Muyenga.
At the album listening party, Katatumba will perform some of the tracks on the album in a new format.
This will be a free entry event to encourage all the fans to attend.
