They say that you must always practice what you preach. After Anita Fabiola preaching the gospel of balancing books and passion to St Lawrence students, it seems she isn’t practicing the same sh!t.
Fabiola who was supposed to graduate this week during the 67th graduation with a bachelors in journalism and communications didn’t see it through after dropping books for a TV career.
“She studied for only three semesters and has never stepped in class again. You know the world is funny. She’s already doing stuff we have studied for without a transcript.
She has a lot of experience in the field than any of us who have graduated today,” Natukunda, Fabiola’s course mate told us last evening after the graduation ceremony at Freedom square.
Fabiola has a radio job at Capital FM and a very blossoming movie career playing one of the major roles in Second Chance that airs on NTV Uganda. So she feels books can wait.
