Makerere University lecturers were given a four days ultimatum on Monday August 14th to upload all students’ results on the students portal.
In a letter issued by the academic registrar Prof. Buyinza Mukadasi, the lecturers had to upload and pin all results by Friday.
The academic registrar further instructed all college principals to report all lecturers that have not adhered to the instruction.
Friday August 18th being the deadline, lecturers have been panicking to upload results and this has raised anxiety among Makerere students.
Campus Bee has learnt that majority of students have had at least half of their course units uploaded on their portals and others are yet to be uploaded.
“Ekiri ku portal. Pressure is killing us. You see your marks in the next minute they disappear,” one student lamented.

Other students have suggested that they should check their portals in the coming weeks so that they enjoy the weekend in peace.
Makerere University will open for a new semester on August 19th and students are meant to have all their results uploaded by the start of the new semester.
