The weekend is here and yes, you all deserve to cool off a little bit to vintage ‘premium’ access to the images you’re about to see.
The Bee has been hovering over a number of archives until it landed on rare photos of President Yoweri Museveni from way back, in the 60’s.
The images seen in this article were taken during his time at campus – University of Dar es Salaam, and amazingly, they’re still up and running..
Museveni enrolled in the University of East Africa at Dar es Salaam (Now University of Dar es Salaam) in 1967, graduating in 1970 with a BA (honors) in Political Science and Economics. While studying political science and economics at the University of Dar es Salaam (B.A., 1970) in Tanzania, he became chairman of a leftist student group allied with African liberation movements, all referring from the institution’s records that Campus Bee has seen.

Uganda’s prominent Head of state seems to have had quite a spell at campus; not only politically but also socially.
