Makerere University has released its official graduation booklet and schedule for its 75th graduation ceremony, set to take place from January 13th to January 17th, 2025. The five-day event marks a significant milestone in the institution’s history and introduces a revised format to accommodate its growing graduate population.
In a notable change from previous years, the ceremony will dedicate two full days to Makerere University Business School (MUBS) graduates, reflecting the school’s expanding academic programs and student numbers.
The ceremonies will begin on Monday, January 13th, with graduates from the College of Education and External Studies, College of Computing and Information Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Resources and Bio-Security, and the School of Law.
