More complaints about the recently suspended Olympia Hostel custodian, Reuben Nahabwe continue to flock the Campus Bee inbox as several female students continue to narrate how he used to harass them sexually.
In a new audio coming in from another Olympia resident (names withheld), the Makerere University female student narrates that she survived Reuben’s traps two times during her stay at the Kikoni-based hostel.
The babe explains that one day, Reuben opened her room in the middle of the night (at around 1am) and immediately grabbed condoms from the closet, lucky for her she was still awake. Apparently, Reuben hides packets of condoms in most rooms at Olympia – which he grabs later when he spots his next target.
“When we entered the room, it had a lot of condoms, we really dint mind and tried to organize the room… so in the middle of the night at around 1am, I heard someone open my door. Remember Reuben has a smart card that opens all doors, so I heard him open my door when I was about to sleep.” The girl narrates.
“He opened the closet where the CDs (condoms) were and picked some, lights were off and he came towards where I was. So when he came, I torched my phone then I said; Who is this? What are you doing here?” she asked Reuben.
Apparently, the intimidated Reuben told her that he thought there was no one in the room while standing ‘armed’ with condoms. According to this girl, Reuben stepped out of the room in fear, an action that gave her a chance to jump out of the room moments later to spend the rest of her night at a friend’s room who was residing at Juliana Hostel.
Despite Reuben’s failed attempt to bed this girl in her first year, the notorious harasser grabbed her booty towards the beginning of this semester before whispering in her ear how he has been fantasizing to sleep with her.
“I got someone to help me shift the things, when the man left to the basement to pick my things and bring them to my room, Reuben came. I was in the bathroom checking out how the bathrooms looks like and stuff, from nowhere Reuben entered the bathroom and started touching my behind, I told him; Reuben leave me but the man refused. He started whispering how he likes my behind, so I pushed him and left the room.” She further narrated.
In a letter signed by the Hostel Managing Director, Dr. Joseph Byamugisha, Reuben was relieved of his duties as custodian to pave way for the investigations into the accusations.
