August Intake: How You Can Start a Career in Applied Computer Technologies at Clarke International University

The countdown is on for the 2021 August intake at Clarke International University (CIU) and choice of selection should be a thing you can easily sail through.

Picking a course for kick-starting higher education can be a very daunting experience due to little/inadequate guidance and knowledge on the courses that are highly marketable within and beyond the country.

Worry no more, Clarke International University has a number of courses in Applied Technology that are deemed fit to take you beyond the horizons as you seek to start a life career.

Cleared to conduct Online Distance E-Learning (ODeL), the school of Business and Applied Technology at CIU offers Tech courses namely; Bachelor of Applied Computer Technologies, Postgraduate Diploma in Health Technology Innovation Management, National Diploma in Computing and Information Systems, National Certificate in Information and Communication Technology

Bachelor of Applied Computer Technologies (3 Years)

Kyambogo University takes disciplinary action against 25 students

  • Two principal passes in any following the subjects in relevant subjects (Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Biology, Geography, Chemistry, Entrepreneurship, and ICT) obtained at UACE or its equivalent as per NCHE requirements.
  • A diploma in ICT or Business (second class and above) from a recognized institution by NCHE or its equivalent.

Postgraduate Diploma in Health Technology Innovation Management (1 Year)

  • First degree (honors) in any field related to Health care (Medicine, Pharmacy, Statistics, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer science, nursing, business administration, and Public Health) etc.
  • Working experience of a minimum two years in the health sector or related sector

National Diploma in Computing and Information Systems (2 Years)

  • Direct Entry, at least 1 principal pass and 2 subsidiary passes at UACE same sitting
  • Certificate Holders Scheme – UCE, a Credit in computing and information systems from recognized institution or its equivalent

National Certificate in Information and Communication Technology (2 Years)

  • Ordinary Level Entry Scheme (UCE) – at least 3 passes obtained in same sitting
  • Certificate Entry Scheme – Junior Vocational Certificate (JVC), or any other relevant certificate obtained from a recognized institution.
