Following a spike in COVID-19 cases, many Ugandans have had a hard time with clearing medical bills but lucky for them, aYo has come up with affordable policies for clients affected by the deadly virus. aYo has gone further to unveil another policy that extends double life benefit to clients lost to COVID-19.
This has been done in a bid to help with increased costs of burial. According to the aYo Managing Director Allan Lwanga, they are offering UGX 4,000,000 to clients who deposit UGX10,000 a moth.
“We at aYo commiserate with all our clients who have lost loved ones during this pandemic. We are offering a double life benefit for all our clients lost to COVID to help with increased costs of burial. For UGX10,000 a month a client will now be eligible for UGX 4,000,000 upon death due to COVID. We can not take the pain away, but let us ease the financial pressure of bereavement.” Lwanga said.
aYo offers medical insurance services to MTN subscribers. These policies can only be enjoyed by dialing *296# on the mentioned network.
