During a swearing in ceremony that was held on Friday 23rd April, Ogwang Robinson Apunyo, the newly elected Guild President for Makerere University Business School (MUBS) was challenged to be a solution by the Deputy Principal Prof. Moses Muhwezi.
The new MUBS Guild leadership was sworn in during a ceremony attended by the Principal Prof. Waswa Balunywa, Deputy principal, Dean of students, Director Human Resource among other officials. Ogwang has taken over from Romulus Tusingwire who was unable to handover in person.
The caretaker of the guild cabinet handed over to the newly elected guild executive in a ceremony that was full of excitement and oath taking. Prof Balunywa challenged the new guild president to focus on serving students as well as providing exemplary leadership.

The Deputy Principal Prof. Moses Muhwezi on the other hand told the new Guild President to be a solution but not a problem during his term of service.
During the elections, Ogwang faced off with Julia Muhumuza and Hilary Tumusiime in a tightly contested guild presidential race that saw him gathering 1,009 votes.
