Students of Ndejje University main campus are in shock after their own third year student committed suicide Thursday afternoon. According to close friends, the student, identified as Tony Garang, was pursuing a Bachelor’s in Entrepreneurship and Business at the main campus.
Garang, a Sudanese National was operating a small shop business at the campus premises. Sources at the campus told this website that there is tension at the Luweero based uni and lectures have come to a standstill as students can not comprehend the reasons as to why their fellow student committed suicide.
According to one of his classmates who requested that we don’t mention his name, Garang did hang himself today at his hostel room after citing numerous troubles he was going through while at campus. Close friends narrated to this website that Garang has been complaining of tuition and family problems that never gave him peace of mind.
