Winnie Byanyima, the Oxfam International executive director and wife to former FDC presidential candidate Dr Kizza Besigye, has announced the news of her son Anselm Kizza-Besigye’s admission into the prestigious Harvard University.
Ms Byanyima tweeted: “I am speechless! Anselm has been admitted to Harvard Univ. Proudest mum! Thanking God.”
Anselm has been the Oxford University Debating Club President after overwhelming victory earlier this year in April.
This is one of the most prestigious debating Clubs in the world.
And in 2014 at the Belmont Hill School, Anselm scooped a trophy in a school based debate that was about fundamental issues such as minimum wage for the working class people in society.
