Sad news coming in suggests that there has been a loss a of one of the students in the Mbarara based Bishop Stuart University (BSU).
The deceased has been identified as John Baptist Atuhairwe who has been a post graduate student at the same institution though the his course has not yet been identified.
The deceased had his last breath on Sunday evening at Mbarara Regional Referal Hospital where he had been admitted days back and his death was caused by a brain tumor which he had carried for a long period of time, according to a medical report.
The deceased, apart from being a student has also been a priest, among the few young ones in the region ordained in 2017. He served as a curate priest at Buhungiro parish days after his appointment as priest and at his death, he had been serving at Kakoma parish.
The burial was yesterday in Nyamitanga. May his soul rest in peace.
