As the NSSF career Expo continues happening in various Universities, singer Bobi wine keeps motivating the youth on how to better their future and businesses. Bobi wine Continues partnering with NSSF by appearing at all venues where the event is scheduled.
Bobi wine landed into some of the hardest students questions so far when speaking to Kampala international university students on Monday at their Kansanga based campus. One of the most tension creating questions to Bobi wine was asked by a female student who wanted him to settle his beef with Bebe Cool once and for all just as a loyal fan, she wants to see them together.
In his response to the question, Bobi Wine said; “We had disagreements but we outgrew them. Our kids go the to same schools. Our wives shop in same places, there is no beef between me and my comrade Bebe Cool. Please don’t bring that again.”
While addressing competition claims, the ‘Bikwase Kyagulanyi’ singer revealed that Bebe Cool and Chameleone are not his competitors but rather partners. “I have no competitors, they are my partners . There is a way I complement Bebe Cool same way he complements me, same applies to Chameleone. My mistakes are their benefits and also their mistakes are my benefits as well,” said the self proclaimed Ghetto president. He went ahead to cite their contributions in selling Ugandan music before revealing that Kenzo grew in his arms. “Kenzo grew up in my hands but he goes and represent Uganda out there,” he said.
Bobi Wine also gave strong career advice to KIU students by making his inspiration ghetto story to the success hungry learners. Like he sings in most of the songs, Bobi emphasized students to do as many jobs as they can and avoid the mentality of dissing dirty jobs. He further advised them to do businesses that others despise so as to earn a living. “Trust your ideas, if you don’t eat pork, then rear pigs and serve those who eat it,” he advised.
On the same event, Bobi wine revealed how much he disappointed his parents by studying the opposite of what they wanted him to do. “My father wanted me to be a doctor, my mother wanted me to be a lawyer but I wanted to be me. They were disappointed when I graduated with an MDD degree.”
The singer sealed the event with a 30 second acapella and later took Selfies with KIU campusers dying to show him off on social media.
