Bobi Wine: Why I flew My Children Out of the Country

On Wednesday night, the flight of the children of Presidential candidate, Robert Kyagulanyi, also known as Bobi Wine caused quite a storm on social media. Photos of the Cavendish University law student’s children leaving the country made rounds on social media with many claiming that Bobi Wine is securing his children before he causes mayhem on Jauary 14 (polling day).

Now, the National Unity Platform (NUP) flag bearer has come out to reveal that the reason he had to secure his children is because their lives were not safe in Uganda. “They wanted to kidnap my children and put them on gunpoint to force me to say things I do not stand for,” Bobi Wine revealed on Thursday morning that he got this intel.

He further revealed that he (Bobi) and his wife Barbie Kyagulanyi were advised by senior politicians like Betty Nambooze and friends in the Diaspora to fly out the children for their safety. Watch the video below;
