Chairman Nyanzi, the brother of Ugandan politician and musician Bobi Wine, has announced his decision to return to school to pursue a Master’s Degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution at Makerere University.
Nyanzi, whose full name is Fred Nyanzi Ssentamu, made this announcement during a recent interview on Urban TV, where he emphasized the importance of education in transforming both the government and opposition in Uganda.
“I am an educated man. Whereas I studied amidst several challenges, I still completed school. I completed S4. I completed S6. I went to Kyambogo for a diploma. I went to MUBs for a degree in Business Administration before going to Makerere University where I studied Social Sciences. I am now back at Makerere for my Masters Degree in Peace and Conflict,” Nyanzi proudly shared during the interview.
His decision to pursue further education in the field of Peace and Conflict suggests a commitment to understanding and potentially contributing to resolving the ongoing political and social challenges in Uganda.
