A dead body of a one Roy Alituha was on Sunday discovered rotting, near Kyambogo Primary School, police has said.
The 28 year old deceased was a son to Timothy Magezi , who serves as custodian at Banda-based Kyambogo University.
In a report on the matter, Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson – Patrick Onyango revealed that the deceased went missing shortly after he dispatched a cryptic message to his sister alarming danger for his life.
Upon discovery of the decomposing body, exhibits at the scene indicated a possible suicide case.
“A small rope was found tied around the neck of the deceased, a sign that he probably committed suicide,” Onyango told a local newspaper.
“Alituha’s father identified the body the body by the shirt he was putting on. No arrests have been made but investigations are ongoing,” Onyango added.
It is said, the deceased went missing for over a month with both police and family searches turning out unsuccessful.
