Shock has engulfed residents of Kansanga in Makindye division after discovering a body of a child suspected to have sacrificed for ritual purposes.
The incident happened on Friday evening when the dead body of a child suspected to be between 5 to 6 years was found dumped at the Kampala international university (KIU) playground.
According to Command1Post, the deceased’s private parts had been cut off, whereas blood had been collected in a saucepan.
However, deputy Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigire said police had not registered any case of a missing child in the area suspecting that the deceased could have been brought from another area.
The body was taken to Mulago as investigations into the brutal murder continue.
