Kyambogo University students have yet again returned to the streets of Banda for day two of the strike to protest the delay of the release of their results and also the lack of payment during internship.
Students are protesting the forthcoming tests that lecturers continue to pile on them yet they have not received their old examination results up to now.
Teargas and bullets have skyrocketed the university premises while students have been driven out of the university grounds to the streets of Banda by police.
Some students are seen marching with branches in the air as they protest the late release of results and lack of payment during internship. Ambulances have been brought to the scene in case there are any causalities after or during the strike.
The university administration is yet to comment about the ongoing matter.
