Former MUBS principal, Prof Waswa Balunywa, has been remanded to Luzira over abuse of office, after finally appearing in court.
Prosecution alleges that Prof Balunywa, during his tenure at MUBS, abused his office between February and April 2023 when he irregularly recruited three individuals as administrative assistants without the required academic qualifications.

The recruitment is said to have created ineligible costs to the government, forming the basis of the corruption case
